"I see more RPGs blurring the lines between miniature, board, and card games."

There's already one company who is doing this very thing - Wandering Men Studios is releasing a new CBPRG (Card Based RPG) called Untold. (http://www.untoldthegame.com) - you should check them out! :)

@Jonathan & Gamefiend: Give it time, I think they are still in the early development phase of creating the company. But expect great things.

FG2 is pretty slick... I wish I could look at some of the 3D programming on that one.

Nevermet Press? Never met 'em...never even heard of 'em!

Umm, ouch. I had to kick my own butt after that one.

For VTT, I would love for Wizards to just buy FG2, integrate 4e with it, and rake it in. FG2 is one sliiiiick piece of software.

@sam - i think the thing to keep in mind is the ratio of blogs to the community. The video game industry is VAST and HUGE.. tons of room for bloggers. The table-top gaming community is MUCH smaller; so the issue of saturation is much more relevant i think. Hopefully more bloggers will continue to band together to blog less/higher quality material as a team. =D

@mike - nevermet press. I googled that... didn't find anything. ... ... ... .. . .

jonathan’s last blog post..The "Golden Rule"

@Samuel: Paizo is definitely a force to be reckoned with. They have top notch products, inherited the 3.5 contingent, and [I feel] is widely respected by the rest of the industry. They share many of the qualities I love in Green Ronin.

I sometimes feel like the RPGBN is saturated, but I think it is manageable (and besides having all the competition is good for motivation).

Thanks for stopping by.
